About

Note: I took this picture while traveling in Italy ^_^
Also, I am currently maining on one of my nonquit accounts, nonquit_nerd_typist, for regular races and instant death mode races on this account.

Officially completed a one hour test on Monkeytype! Here is the video for it: https://youtu.be/WJz4ojtTPro

I started playing TypeRacer on 9/23/2019. My best friend introduced me to this game, and I got 41 wpm on my first practice race. Feeling disheartened by a much lower speed than expected, I decided to hard-core grind my typing skills for about 3 hours a day on average, going onto different typing websites such as 10ff, keybr, and Typing Academy. My speed began to improve quite rapidly from there (by a steady 10 wpm or so per month). In a span of 4 months, I nearly doubled my typing speed and was regularly hitting 80+ wpm, sometimes 90-100 wpm, everyday.

I eventually reached a plateau and quit typing for about 7 months out of frustration. Fortunately, I broke 100 wpm for the first time on a 60 secs test the day I returned to typing and have improved steadily from there, despite inconsistent practice. I currently average 90-110 wpm range on TypeRacer (with quits though, lol) Anyways, enough ranting...here are my current/updated typing accomplishments:
**Recent Monkeytype Achievements: 1 hour test --> 97 wpm; 10 mins test --> 102 wpm; 30 sec default test --> 130 wpm**

1. Fastest speed on a 60 secs test: 121 wpm (Monkeytype; I was super proud of this one)
2. Fastest speed on advanced 60 secs 10ff test: 100 wpm
3. Fastest CAPTCHA: 151 wpm at 94% accuracy
4. Fastest *nonquit* average of 10 races: 103 wpm (Keymash.io - 6 English Dictionary's & 4 quotes)
5. Fastest typing test in a foreign language: 104 wpm
(Monkeytype - Spanish 15 secs)
6. Fastest last 10 average ever: 112 wpm
7. Fastest speed ever (on any typing test): 187 wpm (Monkeytype - 10 word test)
8. Best speed on a 100+-pointer: 119 wpm
9. Best speed on a 200+-pointer: 104 wpm
10. Best 100% accuracy 60 secs test: 108
wpm (Monkeytype)

Also, fun facts:

1. I always touch type...except for numbers and certain
punctuation.
2. I have started to make myself go nonquit while maintaining a high accuracy.
3. I once finished a 900 word essay + thinking &
editing in a span of 2 hours due to my typing speed.
